That ban on the guy with the phone number was too hastey, How did he obtain that number, Warcaptain gave him that number, it doesn't automaticly bind him to a non disclosure agreement, and, I don't see how you can inturperate this to the point where you find it so, so valid:

I think globaly banning on the spot was
too harsh, I've seen this happen many times before on 2k1, you give them one warning and than make sure they don't do it again, you don't just globaly ban, this is overkill. Why hasn't this been done to people who do the same thing? Must we make an exception for the person we call Warcaptian? Or should we not punish those the same who have commited the same "violation" as this guy has.
After all, Warcaptian did willingly give that person the number, he didn't aquire it though hacking or anything like that. I don't even remember reading this part in the agreement, though I should of remembered.
But Like I said, I think global banning with no warning was too harsh, and the exception made for warcaptian, a bit odd, seeing as how he tends to spark debates of this... nature.
Odd no?
This thread is one not of a continuation of a banning, but a reson for such harsh punishment, and why exsactly was it done, if nothing is wrong with the way the situation was handeled, than the thread needs not to be deleated or closed as such, being a modest opinyon and all, no?
