It's in ALPHA testing. ALPHA comes before BETA, meaning it's not even in BETA testing yet. This means that it will not be finished and ready for your enjoyment in the Alpha stage.

Not to mention the fact that it even at this point, 2k2 is perfectly viable for RPing.
