Roleplayers Counsel

They would sort of be like the Roleplayers Inc. They would control what groups entered the Graalian Roleplaying world, and they would officiate Roleplaying sessions that involve the taking over of kingdoms, the stealing of artifacts and other things of much value, and the such. Every kingdom would be able to have a maximum of 2 members in the Counsel, so power groups couldnt control the group. There would also be nonkingdom members on the Counsel, but for someone to be one of these, they would need a support from like 1/2 the counsel. The Kingdom Admin would be the leader of the counsel, he would put the plans into action, take plans out of action, vote on ties, and do every other important thing. contribute ideas to this, and help put it up

atleast not that way,
here is an example,
way out of the time period but its an example,
my faction is secretly researching long range ballistic missiles,
ok so as an event we all get together to do some designing and building, we notify the role-playing counsel,
well now since each faction has two representitives on the counsel each and every kingdom knows exactly what we are up to.

I like the idea! Also if you want the consel to hold it private then the leader will take care of building it himself. So really you don't have to tell every kingdom. Also the leader has to have no affiliation with the Kingdoms.

It was tried before, didn't work. It feel apart within 2 months.

That and level making are my two favorite things to do on graal. I suppose its only a couple more weeks.

this counsel would be OOC, so if any of the members used information brought up in the counsel that is supposed to be secret, there would be penalties.

well, since graal2002 is coming out soon, if all of the kingdom leaders support it, it may get off the ground.

Heres another problem,
on the council, the Demonic Monkey Eaters' councilman announces his plans to invade Tea Cup Hall of Fame.
Now the Tea Cup Hall of Fame's councilman is supposed to act OOC, but just knowing what is going to happen changes the outcome if you didnt know it. Say he didnt know it and normally he would have been patrolling a certain area,
now he cannot go anywhere near his kingdom because since he knows what is going to happen, if he were by his kingdom then he would be prepared to think everything through and prapare for the attack, so now he cant even defend his castle.
But if he never knew about the attack in the first place he would be able to defend it because he patrols there.

This is a game, not a League of Nations. We don't need anything of the sort. What we need is:

a) RPers who aren't jackasses. This is not to say there aren't some of these already. But we need more.

b) RPers who do not go on the forums every time something goes remotely wrong in an RP and say "OMG LOK AT *insert playername* WOH DIDDNT ROPLLAY HE SAYD "YOU" INTSEDA OFF "THOU"!!!!!!! *insert kingdom* SUXX0RZ AT RALPAYING!!!!!!!!111" I gess that's part of (a).

c) More events. Come on. Anything. I'm sure there are some staff and/or kingdom leaders with the imagination prerequisite to slap together some kind of war or kidnapping or what have you. And not all RPs must be negative (i.e. war), and the ones which do involve conflict do not need to always be between two kingdoms. Just give RPers something to do.

d) More RPing staff, now that I think of it. A single person can't control a horde of demons for the kingdoms to slaughter.

These are just a few things, but they'd be a giant leap in the right direction.

yes, they would be kingdom-neutral, but 2 members from each kingdom would be part of the counsel to give them all a voice. non-kingdom members could be chosen to join, and the Kingdom Admin would head the council.

Hmm, yes... then if anyone had private matters, they could discuss them with non-kingdom members of the council.

Now, another thing: who would choose the members of the council? I mean once it's established the council can vote on new members, but how do we choose the first members?

People would apply through the kingdom admin, and he would choose the first 4, maybe more, maybe less.

I think the kingdom specific councilors would be there to vote on RP policies and too debate on how RPing and kingdoms and battles in general should be done,
but when a kingdom goes the the council to tell them what they are doing, it should only be infront of the non-kingdom members of the council

you would't have to bring up every attack to the council, but if you want them to be more organized, you could warn a group about a battle.

Hmm...equal from all kingdoms makes it better, but we will need people from that new snow kingdom, I think Vamp is the leader of that place.

Also, there are 2 Zormite Emperors, so I think that instead of me and one of them, it should just be Zaius and Zeetos.

Also, is it really that important, when 2K2 comes out, I don't even know if Vermain will be staff...
