im not anti-graal, im anti-lie.

and i dont think you should be able to put a price on
what we (The Players) have made for you.

you provided the enviroment, we provided everything else.

a friend of mine recently sent a letter to unixmad to prove
me wrong that graal online has gone all money hungry and
stuff, he hasnt got a reply yet, which shows im partly right,
or that unixmad doesnt reply to fan mail.
I;m sure Unixmad doesn't have time to reply to every single E-mail he gets. I'm sure he recieves well over 200 daily, so what makes your friend's stand out in a whole inbox?

And you are talking like a child and not in reality, grow up; nothing and I mean nothing will remain free forever....The Trial account is "free" so they didn't break their word did they? And to say "the players" made it for you is adsurd, be glad you had the oportunity to be a part of it, in the "real world" when you work for a Company EVERYTHING YOU PRODUCE BELONGS TO THE COMPANY>... so what makes you think Graal is nothing less? IT is a BUSINESS , therfore a Company so guess what , WAKE UP and smell the coffee...

Please go email all these big developers and other owners of games. Tell me how fast you get a reply.

Angelfire.com said it would be free forever and they would NEVER put ads on their users sites. Look at where they are now? This is life, stop *****ing and move on.

People that played Graal from the beginning know that we always planned some way of paying method because making and running a game is not an easy task. In v1.0 you can read in the readme.txt see that we wanted to may be turn it into a shareware game. With v1.1 we wanted to start p2p (Graal Gold), but delayed it till last year to have the game at a good level of quality before charging for playing it.

Yes i found that out =( i wants to be a Game Developer, you get like 60,000 when you first start and can get up to 100,000 a year. But what sucks is you make a multi-million dollar game and out of the 1,000,000 dollars they make you get 100,000 =(. But the owner does take a risk producing the game if the game fails he loses money. Graal is somewhat the same, only when you send something in you dont get paid, which you shouldnt because placing tiles on a green levels isnt worth 10cents. Its your choice to help, im sure stefan and unimad(sp) X_x are thankful that so many people helped in making graal what it is, but there the ones taking a risk not us, if they make a mistake and lose cosumers they lose money not us.

Tiling and Scripting

Both require intelligence? why?

Both need different intelligence, Maybe tiling isn't exactly intelligence, but it deals heavily with asthetic preference, Which many people, do not have the ability to deal with.

Asthetic Preference allows people to think of new ideas, They can express their ideas into what they do, You can be a book worm, and study and put to use of all the scripts avaible in graal, but you may never be able to know how to tile well.

Same thing vise versa, Both are different sides of the brain, some can do both, while others are only good at one side.

Lets stop the rant
