I think the forums have turned into something like that though as well, and if not totally by now, it will eventually. But by that time the thing, I say the forums will turn into, will probably happen. The forums WILL die, seriously. It is already dying currently; everyday you see less people playing Graal and posting on the forums. When I first started, I could barely keep up due to the sheer number of people who read the forums and posted on them. Now I look for something else to do, because it is boring as it slowly dies. I've seen it happen before in the past, and I see the symptons right now. But since the activeness of the forums are more-or-less tied to the pulse, so to speak of 2001 and everyday people seem to be leaving 2001 for one reason or another, says it all.

We now have someone beside Stefan and unixmad as administator of these forums; galen. But I see him do nothing to try to help these forums .

I beleive 2001 will get more lively again, and become a fun place, and hopefully a lot of the money will disappear WITHOUT a server restart. We have several dedicated NPC scripters now; Fal, SK, and Kai, not to mention a hard working LAT (arch), and Kon still scripts and tiles as well I believe, as does Birdbird. It may be slow progress at first, but it will liven up again hopefully...and in doing so, hopefully these forums will become a good, and fun place again.
that will happen when the weather gets better, and people arent in school as much.
