Question Graal2001 Customers.

as you have been aware, the past few days, or maybe even the past week, there have not been much people playing on graal2001! Would any of you, happen to know why this is? See, when I log on in the afternoon my time, there are only about two other people online, excluding me. The server gets to a maximum of 5 players, which is totally weird O.o
In the morning, peak time for graal, there are only about a maximum of like, 60 + people, where as there used to be well over 100..

Because the fact that 2001 is horribly boring and repedative is finally sinking in. Moreso.

Make all the hats and dolls free. Then, make some not-so-boring jobs like deep sea fish hunting with spears, or poaching.

I think it's just the quiet before the storm. Once Graal 2002 hits, it might be different.

But, despite some of the new innovations in Graal 2002, I don't sense the same kind of enthusiasm from players as when 2001 was about to launch.

It's hard to tell.

In 2001, you spend most of your time working, until you have enough money to buy some useless item you get bored of in an hour or so. (dolls, hats)

Bird,no matter how much you want them to,they're not gonna make hats and dolls free. What we should see more of though, its something that will be different every time you do it,maybe a quest,or maybe like RPG style graal.A theme park would be nice

I don't want them to make hats free. I don't play Graal anymore. Because it is a poor MMORPG.

Again, the focus on money. How about sometime a great evil befalls graal, turning the land to black sand... and NPC monsters rampant, along with corrupted humans and bomys. (people who have chosen to side with evil) and then a few brave adventurers must cross the lands in search of >insert item here< to destroy the evil demonlord. It could take weeks or months (real time) to end it until players have actually decided to do something.

Better than another expensive NPC at least...

I was talking to Cyber about that,he said he could try to do something like that. But I said something about the money because if it were free, then there wouldn't be an economy, the only reason i want money is to hold events

I will start playing once all the admin toys and everything are REMOVED. Not disabled, I want them deleted. Until then, I will not be going on 2001 over a minute a day. Classic is much better because we have one staff tool, which helps GPs and FAQs do their job. It also makes sure we have our tag on when we use it, so GPs don't go off duty and fly over buildings (I hate it when they go off duty on their GP accounts)

*sigh*...shall I say this again, Kawaii?...To put it frank, Graal2001 is boring and annoying. Hats dominate the market, which makes the rich richer and the poor poorer, hats were never meant to be this way. The developers seem to be attacking only the money, and not the system that creates it's unbalance, by scamming Graal with phony raffles that only end up with people that get no prize because it 'broke', by expecting people to donate money, by raising stand prices. Half the time, they don't even do that, they just play around with their toys.

Maybe if Birdbird,SK, and Konidias think for a second and stop tryng to take the easy way out instead of doing the right thing, which is MAKING FUN JOBS AND CORRECTING THE PIECE OF CRAP WE CALL AN ECONOMY , perhaps Graal will get more players, but not in the state it is in now.

What I want is too difficult for 2001, but I hope will appear in 2002. I want tons of rare items that there are only one of, with different monetary values and uses.

MORE WEAPONS.
The basic few weapons of fireball, bomb, and sword arent cutting it.
Give us tons of cool 2k1 weapons ( for example, staff of light ) to kill people with.
More jobs, things that dont revolve around pressing D.
And, this last one I cannot stress enough - MORE STUFF FOR BOMIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like this:
People don't need to kill others in masses to have fun(well, some of us)...anyway, that would be a quick fix, and eventually, if PK gets out of hand, people will quit, more than have already.

We need fun jobs and a more balanced economy, but the level makers want to try quick fixes, which don't work.

GET RID OF THE HAT MARKET!

The rise in people would only be temporary...eventually people would get sick of it and move on, like mini-games.
Graal2001 needs a long term fix.

Gotta do something with it, make it between NPC and player..

If nothing is done about it, it will continue the unbalance the economy like it has.

There are no more staff npcs that do not serve a pourpose, there is two of them that I am aware of, there is the one where you can be in any xy of the level, and you can go around the level using setfocus, very useful for tracking hackers, and than the sign npc, where we are able to place signs as npcs whial playing rather than editing the level

Ofcoruse there is control npc, but its nothing different than having RC

I made sure that there were no more staff npcs, and disabled alot of the npcs that were done testing.

Its not really the server that affects alot of people, I mean, alot of really really crappy servers in the past have attracted alot of people, because of the people. And I think that 2k1 seriusly lacks nice people, and people who care about another person rather than the gralat

I've seen more than that Birdbird, especially yesterday when you screwed around with peoples head gifs and hats.

Please go fix Graal2001 instead of defending youself.

there is a lot that stops me from playing 2001

its very repeatative...tapping D over and over :grrr:

hats control the whole market and if you want a hat its usually taken by all the staff members who give themselves money or taken by the rich who then sell it for like 3 times as much and then its bought buy someone else who is rich and you never get it.

staff is very very mean and lack people skills, ask a question and get a nasty response, jailed, or ignored.

and stefan is kinda gone he was the main reason i played cause he cared was nice and always updated but now hes busy with 2002

Hmm, Yeah, very repeatitve, the jobs aren't fun :/
Hats do domintate, which they weren't meant to do.
Never did have any problems with staff, so I can't back you there.
Stefan doesn't need to be here, these guys should be able to do this themselves without Uncle Stefan watching.

I think Graal is stuck between a brick wall and a hard place,We can't reset the graal economy over and over, because then it would just happen again and again and people would be pissed and start whining about all their hard work,on the other hand,if we don't reset it then the "gralat" will take over, and we'll turn into an amazonic-like race, where there will be emporers(The rich people)and serfs.I still think my idea for the theme park is good though,it would be easier to get rid of money, and we can have new things added every so often so it didn't get boring
