Long story short:
Contego comes online and acts like he owns Graal and starts to fire people and boss them around. Birdbird was suspended, Torankusu was suspended, so was Alkaren. Birdbird then resigns but then quickly regrests that dcision and returns. Loriel quits his job. Alkren leaves I haven't seen Toran around on Graal lately

All in all, I suppose you could say that Contego screwed up Graal

Alkaren did not leave because of contego; contego was a slight factor, but Alkaren left for other reasons.
