It used to be worth it because Stefan would make sometimes 2 updates per week, now it's lucky for an update ever ever ever. The slums just came out, but that's just providence levels and seemingly bird mafia related (which of course is another staff members guild). There is nothing to do in the slums anyway. New Hat's?? Don't make me laugh, that's not an update at all. That's just putting a bunch of gifs that a player made in a store for people. Hats are all over the place, hardly an update.

With that news thing outside of the admin house and 'all' that SK is working on seems to be the only things that may be released. He has a nice list there but we've yet to see any of it. Hopefully he'll get finished sometime soon and start making periodic updates.

Graal2002? Don't even talk about that until it's released.

So that brings me back to exactly why is Graal worth re-upgrading AT THIS POINT??

This is just my opinion.
Sk seems to be the only admin type guy who actually is trying to get graal2001 better
theres never anything really exciteingly new on graal2001 hats are getting boring except for my black shogun =D

Here's something that would make ME want to reupgrade:

Oasis, Murasamune (once Soul Blade decides to get back to work on it), Graal 2230...upcoming servers...
It can't be an update, it shouldn't be. It shouldn't be considered one.

What I meant by staff members guild is that it is owned by birdbird.

RE-UPgrading for things not released yet and that may never get finished, not because they suck or anything but just because the owner doens't have the time or will to continue his project.

So it's owned by Birdbird; big deal.

Hats are an update because Hats are a major part of Graal 2001, and when new ones are released, it furthers the economy.

I would definitely reupgrade for Oasis and Graal 2230 since I know that both of them will continue, I talk to konidias about it every other day or so (I'm currently revising his story for the server), Graal 2230 is full of dedicated staff and won't just die off.

3) The levels on Graal 2001 are amazing? That is a joke, isn't it? Those level are quite horrid, and quite frankly, I am serious. Maybe it is you that doesn't have the good eye for levels, I have heard many others who say the levels could be improved, and that they can. There is a lot more room for creativity, originality, and there are many tile errors that could be fixed.
The level quality isn't that bad, I haven't seen any better from you shaun, although I did see you rate your levels like a 9 and then I saw them and woulnd't give them even that.

Graal2001 has better NPC's then anything else, the level quality does not suck. But it's not 'amazing' either.

and they dont seem to be and update that happens that often if its even a update at all

I have to agree that there isn't much worth re-upgrading for now. The prices were upped, that's all good and well but there isn't any point until 2k2 comes out. And I hope that Graal 2230 won't turn ointo another "staff fun time" server where staff runs around with super death star equivalent powwer lazer beams blowing people up with anti matter technology. The staff should either stay out of space role-playing or play as normals. One way they can play as normals is possibly be a CEO of some space company that is awfully rich (I have nothing wrong with that)

Well it is technically something owned by a staff member, and the slums were the only update in a while and it's because "I ASSUME" it's bird mafia related.

Graal2k1's economy is DEAD. Just completely, it used to be hard to get money, and to afford everything, now people have like 40k gralats or more.

Eh, maybe, maybe not. You can't know for ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY SURE. Ya know.

I haven't seen all of my levels, and I said I would rate my levels unfairly, it's because with everybody else, I don't know them, with myself, it's only natural to have an unfair bias, and I said that it would be unfair, but just for a go at it.

Graal2001 does have better NPC's and Levels, but that's not saying much. Most of the NPC's are simple to script however, and the levels have a little bit of effort. Yes, the general level quality does "suck", but it's what is your definition of "suck" that counts. Well, it's all in the "Eye of the Beholder"

Eye didn't even know what his name meant before he started using it and I told him, lol.

Graal2001's npcs are sooooo not easy to script, though there are simple ones like hats, there are hard ones.

they get that much because they load up on hats that they buy cheap then sell them at high prices it makes me mad but ive learned to cope with the rich by working hard by mineing ehich i cannot do because of this cc ban

The only ones I couldn't script would be ones with npc server, that's only because I have no interest in working with that... thing.

Oh, I'm just sure you're perfectly capable of scripting any NPC you want without any trouble aren't you shaun??
What's your secret? Goto the g2k1 script site and use the awsome power of copy paste!? I don't suck at scripting but I'm nost so good as to script all the things on Graal2k1.

No, they just haven't pulled out the big guns on G2K1 yet... There is a lot of potential in the scripting engine, I have seen lots of I couldn't do, but as I learn more C++, I learn a little bit of GScript.

I am most likely going to reupgrade now because of this. Unixmad spent 100000 dollars on graal last year from his own pocket to try and make this game enjoyable for you. It may get boring at time, but he is trying is damndest(sp?) to make sure this game stays online. The people that have been using fake CC's make me sick and you people should ALL be IP banned.

I don't mean any offence by this Shaun, but you're ignorant if you shun the NPC Server. It's a brilliant tool and until you learn to use it and find out what it can do, you shouldn't insinuate to the contrary. The simple fact is that you couldn't script 90% of G2K1 simply because there's a large chunk of the language that you can't use.

If Stefan would let me have full acess for 2230 and have the team on it, it could be in close compition with 2k2, and bring alot of players and new upgraded accoutns to it, I wish he would acutaly consider leting us work on it online before 2k2 gets released

It's sadly a very big percentage of the peoples that have upgraded there account from October to January.

Each banning is managed by hand, and we receive 3 papers from our bank to be sure there is no mistake. All this is verified by me personally 2 times !

It’s possible that some peoples have been abused by some others, but when you give your account/password to someone else, you take the risk that someone do credit card fraud to upgrade your account, then don’t complain about loosing your account, the only way to have your account back is to pay for it and don’t try to use some other fake credit card because I will verify all transactions by hand.

We are now using Paypal for payment processing, for peoples that want to try credit card fraud or ask for charge back after a while, they need to known that Paypal and us are now reporting all activity to the police and to the bank, it mean that if you do such things not only you will not be able to use paypal in the future but your bank will not give you another credit card.

I have only managed half of the credit card fraud, today there will be another big group of account that will be banned for credit card fraud.

Stefan and Me are really affected by this and the Linux cyberjoueurs company is facing to money problems because of all this, when you do credit card fraud not only the bank is taking the money from our account but we have to pay penality to the bank for what you are doing.

Then when you complain for loosing your account or time think about Linux cyberjoueurs peoples loosing there job because of you and think that we will probably have to change our way to manage Graal, 80% of peoples never pay to play Graal and 10% of others do credit card frauds, how do you want us to pay charges with that ?
I give people stuff on 2001 to upgrade them. You say that we can get accounts back by reupgrading? After ownerofbabylon was banned I paid again and it didnt get enabled, can you check on that?

There are several things wrong with you, A. You cannot spell, B. Who cares if subscription prices were raised, if you dont like it stop playing. And finally why is he a "biotch" for wanting to feed his kids? Do they deserve to starve because immature idiots like you don't want to pay an extra few dollars to play an online game. I wish he would to but people would complain since Stefan has already said 'No more UC Servers.'
