isn't there a rule that non-p2p playerworlds cant use p2p images...

Ok then I think you need to email all the Owners of PWs and give them a list of your "rules" on what is allowed and what is not
or at least post them somewhere on here.Otherwise it leaves everything up to speculation and conjecture.

If it has to be taken down it should be taken down for the GFX, not the script. What's the point of even having a server if you cant use creative ideas without the PW Team threatening to take down your server?

Um, Steven dont talk to us common folk. I emailed him twice about npulse's bugginess so he could restart it, he hasnt even replied to either one, and I asked for a reciept. I am not his friend, therefore I am unimportant, and it makes me sad to say that, but thats from what I have seen and heard

This is truly sad... I admitt using a 2k1 image was wrong on our behalf, and surely was taken down as soon as I was aware. But telling us we cant use the script itself is non-sense.

We cant use mutli-directional Gani's, so your saying we cant use four ganis facign a dif direction and add an if statement for it?

Or the light on the cave entrance that James showed you, your saying we cant use that because it LOOKS like something on p2p?

This is completely insane. I would seriously prefer a direct anwser from Stefan. Because if using a script to lay many images is illegal because it LOOKS like something on p2p, then this also reflects on MANY things on MANY other servers. Not just my own.

Our script was original and didnt break any rules, it was simply a way to make the best out of what we have and if the PW team is taking that my question is "Whats next?"

Soon we'll be told we're not allowed to make our own Baddies or bosses, and all our quests must be "figure out the riddle" or else it might resemble a p2p world. This is wrong, and you all know it.

Talk to Stefan if it means that damn much to you. Alterring scripts just so you can find loopholes/bend the rules a little.

Stefan made those commands specifically for P2P owners to use. You should respect his wishes and either go P2P or not use them at all. And emulating them is pretty much the same as if you'd gone directly to the source and used the new commands. I don't think Stefan would approve of this, but whatever.

If you gunna limit non-p2p to ancient 1.4 scripting commands, you might aswell take them down compleatly, non-p2p is so outdated. You could make classic handle player levels again, and players could make houses, and npcs, and stuff.

I suggest someone tries to get a hold of Stefan to tell the rules as it says nowhere that using showimg in a for loop is illegal.

Yes I do feel strongly about this. Since p2p came out it has taken feature after feature away from non-p2p servers. When the hell does it STOP? I mean we're not using the command, its not even doing the same thing as the tiledef command. Its just letting us use a shabby system to lay custom tiles. Its laggy and glitchy and bleh. We've been through this before.

Yes I agree, I think we need some devine intervention on this one.
