Pure Ideas, No Opinions! (Graal2002)

Please only post Ideas, even if you want to say that something you like etc, POST SOME IDEAS.
OK so far there's this (sent by everyone):

- Realistic Bows
- Realistic Use of Shields
- Realistic Swords
- Mixable Items
- No Pauseing, all PK Area
- Normal Kindoms, which you can realy destroy
- Everything can break
- Techniques of Fighting, so if you have sword you can hit in differenet ways with different amount of time spent, different amount of hits and different damage.

My Ideas:
- Realistic Life System
* Cloths - You get simple cloths from start then you have to buy better one in shops and you can ask for your own outfit so that the shop owner would make it for a small fee.
* Food - You need toeat from time to tie, if you don't then yu die.
* Water - You need to drink water.
* Shelter - You need SOMEPLACE to stay and rest at leats for a little while if you dn'trest for long you start to become hungry faster, or you run slower etc. Basicly Shelter is sleep.

- When someone hits you he can damage for example your arm and then you can'tuse let's say shield, or your leg then you go slower, or he hits you in body then, all characteristics go down a little bit.

- You can get some kind of Partners, but NPC ones like some kind of dog, or human, who (if human for a fee), help you fight monsters. Those NPC can have their own inventory.

- Your own family. Though I think Graal2002 alredy has that =), well so i heard anyway.

-You can LOSE items when you die like in Diablo II... maybe have something so that you can pay certain items to be "blessed" so when you die, it stays with you.

-The more weight you are carrying, the slower you run.

-MAGIC MAGIC MAGIC!

-Thief system, you can steal objects or money. This would require some sort of skill tree or something so that the more skill you have in stealing the more you can do etc.

-ALTERNATIVE BODIES! no one wants to be a human everytime, make some bigger bodies like trolls and some smaller bodies like gnomes.

-Animal training, i want to have a legion of rats attack those i hate hehe.

How I think the bow should work:

1. You use the bow once, which takes an arrow from your quiver and loads it into the bow.

2. You use the bow again, which takes out the bow.

3. You use the bow once more, which fires the bow.

How I think the bomb should work:

1. You use the bomb once, you get out the bomb from the bomb baggy

2. You use the bomb again which lights the bomb

3. you then throw the bomb like you throw snowball(the npc on g2k1)

Yes!Maybe when you fire the bomb you have options?Like you press A or S once you fire the bomb and each is a certain way to use it..Like just lay it and light it, or throw it like Sac says.
Or maybe the player has to craft their own bombs? Like they get iron or whatever bombs are made of and they melt it and round it and fill it with gunpowder and they have a bomb to use!That way people can mine and such for weapons in a way.

and we can put poison int he bomb so when it explodes it makes poisonous gases that kill people mauahahahahahahahahaha

There are no item drops in Diablo 2. In Diablo 1 you drop all of your equipment though

Maybe they could make it so you mine substances that are explosive and you "grind" them into gunpowder?lololol

I hope graal2002 has blood in it ..and well be a huge world where you can build your own citys and things for your empire , and I hope it won't be about money making X_X

2k2 is a "huge" world, yes! It's centered around the existing Kingdoms on Graal 2001(Samurai, Dustari, Zormite, Pirate Crew), and a new one called "Forests".

It won't be about money making.

NO UNSTICK ME. I cannot stress this enough. It ruins any possibility of a siege or the like if the besieged can be warped at any time back to the center of the world. I mean that.

NO SAINTS. Invincibility is no, no good in a roleplaying world.

NO PAUSING. Ugh. Been said before, but cannot be stressed enough.

And this may be a bit of a stretch, but different races. Not just those horrid human classes, but the ability to be an elf, an orc, a dwarve, et cetera, each with different player attributes. Elves run faster and shoot quicker but are weaker than others in sword combat. Dwarves are slower than humans and elves, but much faster. You get the idea. I'd much rather see this sort of thing than just player classes.

for some reason, I always thought that the ratmen would spearfish for zormites in the zormite aquaducts.

Perhaps, but never forget that the Ratmen are doomed. With no Ratwomen to reproduce, the race will quickly die off. >:D

Forests should be like a robin hood kingdom and they should be elves..
I wish there would be classes like orchs and ect. etc. I would wub to be an orch ..
