The tiles aren't my cup of tea....and for some reason, the space blackness has alot of un-needed detail and looks all blocky....why not just use pure black?

I'm looking forward to this server even though people may flame because they have a grudge against soulblade and judge the work blindly.

don't know, something funky happenned when I decreased the colors, lots plain solid things got all grainy.... I haven't had much time to work on tiles and stuff, and no one here wants to tell me wuts wrong with them because they suck and they hate me

... or atleast most of them do, some don't, but wutever

my graphics aren't even very good compared to glenn's and shadrock's but they're better than yours
your graphics from page one are so undetailed and boring and flat
the colors you use are horrible and your shading is worse
my cactus wasn't great. i don't have any graphics anymore. i deleted them all, including some of my best graphics that not a soul saw
my tileset i was making for my PW was not bad, i would have thought you would have seen that

I'm glad I've realized these kinds of arguments are pointless...

Anyways, TrueHeaT, you might try and comment more positively instead of contributing to the downfall of the community. His graphics aren't impeccably horrid, at least he's trying. Tell him where he might improve, and also comment on what he did well.

For example, I'd say he's got shape down, but just needs to work on detail and shading. Look at the door. The shape is a great start. Add some detail to it and more contrast and it could be one hella sweet door.

Also, The shading I'd say is too predictable. Perhaps some little nicks in the ground would add some random shading? The same thing over and over again makes the eyes bored quickly, so perhaps I'd suggest using at least 3 tiles for the ground, each with slight differences, and placing them randomly.

And Lilbro, you can't really cuss people away. It's proven to only aggrivate them and is just like asking them to reply.

Once again, I'm a little slow on the draw, but good job on the inertia thingy..I'll have to make something like that just for fun some day

I did it on my calculator once, but it was really inefficient, and I couldn't have more than two "objects" (ships, bullets, planets, etc) on the screen at a time, otherwise it got really slow and choppy...

well... it's a long story..............

actually it's pretty short, I was on the phone with kristy and I really wasn't paying attention and I was clicking on the pallette mabobber with right and left buttons, and when I hung up (3 hours later) I went to color in some stuff and, not knowing the colors changed, I collorred the lights green... and I liked it, same with the gray

The space scenes were nice, but that tileset is ugly.
The colors are too bright, it is not detailed enough, and on some of the screenshots I can't tell what the hell is going on in the picture.

that was a test level, I just crammed everything in to see wut I could make of it, so your not supposed to know wut the hells going on, your just supposed to see how the tiles look.

on the other hand, I did post a picture where you would know what the hell was going on...

and I strictly remmember no one liking the mura tile set or something because we added too much detail
