Sneak Preview of the Faheria Dungeon Master System.

TB3 has been working on this for a few days/weeks, on the first screen, you'll see how a "portal" is made, the DM sets the type and level with voice command, while the x, y and portaltime are set with the arrow keys.

A portal will send any players touching it, going through it or on the creation point to the specified destination

! This will be used to either warp players back to town like a Town Portal or to go to secret areas.

On the 2nd Screenshot, you'll see the 4 portal types and me with my wings

Oh and don't think this was easy to make! TB3 showed me the script and hell, it's great (although I understand only part of it o_O).

I made something sort of like this...
It doesn't have anything to deal with warping the player, but it does involve windows and placing objects in different levels

It took you an entire week to make just the window?

not the graphics, it took days/weeks to complete this npc because he is working on tons of things at the same time.. he had to first think of the npc, then when he made it, he had another of those "visions" lol.. so he made a more graphical version of it

and not going to since my ISP isn't accessing any websites and for some reason im able to access GRAAL .. -_-' battle.net isnt responding for me =\ bleh.. and about that TP thing, yeah it's the same, except that its a one way

My Personal Opionon on getting warped anywere is kinda dumb, it makes travel too easy for the players. it should be chalenging not just a click of a button and off you go, this is just another "Warp Ring" from classic in a diffrent form.

Mabie secret area's is fine but going from town to town is a bad idea.

This thing is to warp players so that we dont have to make links to those secret areas and so that players are warped through a real portal, not an RC warp. It's to make the RP more realistic, details like those are important. And players might have to pay to make town portals

making it expensive to travel directly to town, but a simple portal to the outside of the current dungeon would be fine.

God Slp stop being a *****! This is for us to make easy level warps so we don't have to go into level editor and do it. Geeze that was the stupidest post I've ever read.

It's not for players, it's for DMs only (Owner/Co-Owners/Admins who want to lead a group of players on adventures and quests

Yea it's for everyone to use, the PLAYERS use them to warp and check out the new stuff, and the ADMINS use them to make it easier to add level warps. You're so smart!!

i agree that it's a good idea, a lot like the ultima online moongate system, would be cool for players if they had to mark runes to certain location then open a moongate using the rune to that location
