Perhaps my point was not made entirely clear. lol What I was trying to establish is that the terms 'oldbie' and 'newbie' are, at least in the linear sense, outdated. It is my belief that they should be reapplied in terms of how a player 'carries himself' and the level of maturity that they show in their dealings with others. Under this system, the term 'newbie' would be applied to those who seem to be somewhat, shall we say, immature, while the term 'oldbie' falls to those who play the game with chivalry. |
