How do you make ganis with custom graphics?

I'm trying to make a cool NPC that makes it so that the character is piloting a huge mech but I need to make custom ganis....how do I import custom graphics into the Graalshop?

also I wanna know if theres a way that the player would be able to detect incoming objects (mechs,missiles,whatever...)and If it detects something I want it to play a certain .wav file....
Please tell me the script to do that....I've been trying to find it out.....but I couldn't...

for custom graphics your gonna need to use param1, param2 etc see the newfeatures2001.txt file for more help

Click on the big add button, then under image type the images name.
Fill out description however you want to.
For sprite index, put a sprite number down that is not being used up, hold your mouse over a sprite to see its index.
x,y,w,h are pretty much the same as setimgpart if you have ever used that command.
x being the x coordinate of the top left part of your wanted image, and y being the y coordinate of it.
w is the width in pixels, and h is the height in pixels.
Then click the add button closest to the top.

Now the image will appear on the side.
