problem with bird catching

Can somone tell me why my bird catching won't work? When ever i catch a bird and bring it in......it does not pause me to tell me how much it was worth........I also only have 91 grams........

It's either lag or the evil evil bug called "AARGH! My strings for bird catching are messed up!"

well.......then how do i get it fixed!? I cant get anymoney unless i win it a contest or someone just gives it to me......
