Is there anyway to set transparency in MSPaint?

save the bmp file, then use this simple program ive attached, its called giffy and its really easy to use to set transparency

There are some versions of MSPaint which do allow transparency, you can check if you have that version by checking if you can save an image as a gif, if you can't do that you can't set transparency, if you can save as a gif then go to "select custom colours" or something, it's there somewhere then.

Giffy isnt very reliable at all, it often messes up, not saving transparencies all the time... wonder why? Anways the best thing I think to use is Ulead Gif Animator, it is very good for adding transparencies and animating gifs, I use MSPAINT to draw them first though.

MSPaint makes bmps, not gifs. So you if you wanna make a head you couldn't use MsPaint anyway. The file needs to be in compuserve graphics (aka gif) 89a format, then you can set the transparencys very easily.

I haven't had any trouble with Giffy, and check to be sure your talking about the same one I use (the one on the flybum website). I've seen a lot of other graphics programs also called Giffy.

The version of Paint I have at home allows me to save the graphics as a gif. I can then go to the attributes of the pic, and select a transparency color.
