Fed up with (graal2001NewMain)

Well, first. there are too meny noobies that are annoying, second ppl that abuse there power witch i saw 3 staff taday doin it (not namin names).

And theres nothing to do anymore making money isnt worth it cause theres nothing to buy (once you have goten all its not fun to buy anymore), the quests take 1-10 mins at the most to beat wich isnt a problem cause newmains plot has nothing to do with quests (more about Evolution in a siciody).

But there isnt anything left to do, the only new things i ever see on 2001 is Updates on things that are already up, and Hats that are re-stocked and new hats. there needs to be more things or once ppl have done everything there will be nothing left to do.

2001 has started to suck, every 3 seconds some mass message pops up with some "wanna buy/sell" stuff. I guess I could ignore, but a lot of fun stuff show up there too.

They even send private messages...

is soon finishing the market place levels :-)

About new things: Yes we are also working on
newworld so some of the better ideas will be
be made reality there because the old engine
is not capable of it. Also we just added food items
and a new quest...

2001 is a really good server but my opinion is that there is too much people there now. Nothing wrong with newbies but they all abuse mass messages. Can't you disable mass messages on the server or something?

Solution, make admin house a no playerkilling area, AND fix the gralat problem by adding a new type of onwall detection for gralats which don't allow gralats to be laid in places which resemble door ways.

ahem.. anyway, I'm almost finished stefan

And I have one heck of a quest I have started too.. it is gonna be a very nice rp type quest that will take a bit longer to finish then you would expect.

I was truly going to say this before Stefan said it, but we were all newbies at some point. The newbies will soon learn and grow to become oldbies. But if you treat them like dirt and call them names and degrade them then 6 months down the road, imagine what kind of people will be playing Graal?

Guy, if you are really interested in making money you should actually plan out "the big picture" when you make these servers. G2K1 suffers from what Classic did just a short time ago. Tyhm and his team have taken the once haphazard quests and is churning out a semi coherent story line to tie them all in. (ACK! I'm DEFENDING Tyhm!) In G2K1 there is only one lame idea after another submitted and then used. (ie kingdoms, hats, etc.) I'm sure of G2K1 actually had a real "storyline" on WHY everyone must go bake bread, kill bomies and wear hats you might be able to stop the financial bleeding that your current system has created.

If you touch a gralat on the right, left, or bottom, you pick it up... but noooo, not the top.

not in some cases.
I guess the size of the gralat NPC needs to be changed so that it would be less taller(that way people could pick it up from the top)

Now could you change the signs so that I don't read them when I touch something near where the sign index is supposed to be?
For some reason, when I touch anything near where the sign is(when I become onwall near the sign), I read the sign, even though I may not be touching the sign.

Great, it's been getting really annoying to have to go back over to the admin house and go in and out of the door from the outside untill I pick up the gralat everytime someone drops one in the door

Ah! I know what your talking about, I thought I was the only one that had that problem. You run into a sign to read it, but for some reason the box won't pop up. So you keep running into it and it FINALLY shows up. Then when you walk away the sign pops up two or three more times before it leaves you alone.

yeah, it has to do with onwall I think. It happens to me every time I run into any sort of sign index or an onwall object near a sign index.
