He won't go anywhere. I'm an athiest and I always get annoyed when people enforce their beliefs on me. Who's to say you're right about the hell thing? You don't have any guarantee that your religion is the correct one. What about the people who believe in reincarnation? In their eyes, death is great because it gives you a fresh start. Try looking at the situation objectively.

Lemme ask you this then. If your mother wanted to kill herself and she told here what would you say? Knock yourself out?

Dudes, if he wants to die then why not let him? Selfish? It's his life, why should he live it for anyone else? And this talk of hell? Ha! You talk like it's a given that hell exists, but did you ever think that he might believe differently? That's the trouble with theists - they never think objectively.

Someone needs help and we all could help him to let him know that he would miss him. Sure I don't know him but I think I would everyone miss who say I will going to commit suicide.

@Shadow Knight I hope you read this - don't do it, your life isn't so bad to do those things. You think so at this moment but in a few weeks you will think everythink in your life is changed. Everybody have Problems in real life. That is life, nobody have a perfect life!!!

Fox, What the hell kind of sicko are you? You live in a country that was made by CRIMINALS and where all the women look like MEN and your gross national product is less than that of Canada =/ At least canada has some decent looking girls. And then You get off coming in here and making fun of someone when they're having a rough time. I think you deserve to be shot in the knee caps and made to run 10 miles. but anyways, Make him understand that there are plenty of people with worse lives than him, just because he didn't get the girl this time, doesn't mean he won't get her eventually.

I wouldn't want her to die because I'm human and as such I am fundamentally selfish. But from a logical, objective viewpoint, I shouldn't stop her.

See, you assume that helping him is stopping him from committing suicide. But if he wants to die then by stopping him, you only hinder him and prolong his life. Just leave him to do what he wants with his own life.

Some ppl commite suicide because they feel their life is pointless and noone likes them and they're alone. If we showed him this isn't true then he might not do it..how do you not know that? This guy could be really depressed and come and read this forum and kill himself because of what some of you say!

Have you ever thought that he could do it the wrong way, and severely hurt himself? Have you ever thought that maybe he might get severely injured in the process and become paralyzed so he just has to live his life and has no way of killing himself? If he wants to die, he can wait like the rest of us, Life's too short to complain about it.
