Mall command was removed because everytime you called the command the server would lag terrible.

Yes, because the server is so lag free without it now.

I recommend scripting in a page button for the /mall to avoid loading the entire database. The mall was a lot smaller at one point and didn't require so many resources to pull the entire database.

I'm happy to do the work if you like.

Nah man; they'd rather just disable the command instead of fixing it.

I've been asking to have this for months. I even told them to just load the stands as you scroll down rather than all at once.

Uhm, maybe... I think it's way simpler just to send the information 20 items at a time. I can get it done guys. I got this.

Thats even worst, sending multiple triggers? The real solution is moving to SQL, so you can cache the database information.

It is SQL.. It's just pulling from multiple sources all at once. At the time there weren't that many mall stands to run the script through. There are a lot of stands now and the script needs to be adjusted to accommodate the change.

Aside from that, it would not send multiple triggers. It would allow players to send triggers manually as they go through the menu. You can prevent multiple pages by forcing the client to wait until the process is complete.

The /mall command is in the works, I'm just completely re-writing it at the moment and making a new menu instead of adjusting the current one (not a fan of how it's done). The current one just pulled all the rows from table and threw them onto the GUI, but having 250~ rows meant bad times

But yes, was disabled a while ago and with all the changes it wasn't a high priority tbh but was started up recently and finishing it up, so expect it soon

You mean the menu will have pages to reduce the amount of information it pulls up all at once? You are a freaking genius alf.

Thumbs up

Good work on the new mall feature Alfonso.

The GUI could be a little nicer (maybe rounded borders or soemthing) but everything is working nice

Glad it's working out so far
I am adding more features and making it even better when I can, just not live updating it yet until that's all ready to go so feel free to keep posting suggestions!

If you're talking about the mall it's already pulling the community name value from the table, or should be as it's set up that way when it's calling the query, at least. Why those people don't have community names I have no idea

That's not at all how it's set up.. The mall is strictly set up to reference player.account. You'll need to replace the account field with Control_Accounts.getCommunityName(temp.acc);

The reason I set it up without player.communityname is because I did not want the system based on information that can change.

... So you just named the column cname? That's misleading
But will adjust it later when I get home, not a big issue anyways Thanks for letting me know it's set up with account name instead lol

Hence the confusion
Could've set up two different columns for acct name and cname, not like it would've made a difference as far as data etc. goes.

You could have, yes, but then you're reproducing information that's already being done elsewhere.
