Speaking from experience coming into the graal scripting scene late, it is just as difficult these days with the lower PC Client playerbase to get past the learning curve for GS2 without having a voluntary gscript teacher explaining important aspects and the mechanics of how scripts are executed.

I am more than willing to help, on my free time, teach people the basic mechanics of GS2, and even some advanced aspects of the language. I've mentioned it before, but nobody got in touch nor was interested in learning.
