I have come into my first transmorged item from another player and I was confused as to how I would obtain the original shield back.

Currently, the item is a Baal's Tower Shield +12 with the GFX of a Shield of Hammorogue. I would like to know what would happen if I was to cast Cancellation on the transmorged item. My goal is to receive the Baal's Tower Shield +0 with all original graphics and such, but I have been told this is not what would happen.

Please verify before I actually cancel it and do not get the outcome I was looking for.

It'll go back to Baal's Tower Shield (clean) and the mud gfx will stay the same (hammorouge), but the gfx when equipped will be Baal's.

This is how I understand it, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
