Godzilla has a spectacular aura about
Variety...

I think we have the variety standard on food business' down pat... What do we have, 5 food business' and multiple ways to get healing items through ECs...

I think we need to introduce a few more business' into Era on the other market sides.

Ammo Stores are basically neck and neck, nothing differentiates them other than the difference in the walk from unstick-me to each building. (besides the useless melees and grenade that no one uses from Ammo Mart)

I can't remember the last time I needed Core Ammo for one of my guns, so introducing that business back probably won't be the biggest blast for the person owning it.

There is no competitive business like PyroTech, it's essentially a gold mine to sit on, hence how shrimps has become so wealthy, maybe we could introduce another business like PT, adding Helicopter Ammo, RPG Ammo, Core Ammo into their store, along with a few bombs.

I could see another Ammo store or two being added but I think an auction would be a great way to introduce more competition and variety among business' on the ammo and bomb side, with speed pizza all ready to go to be auctioned, wouldn't hurt to throw in a surprise, take a few million out of the economy at least, especially if the players know that they can get a business of their choice added (Ammo or Bombs, maybe even a complete new business that someone can think up).

See what you're saying but we have to many businesses in the food section, extremely hard to compete. I mean, who's idea was it to create moon wok when dairy hut was struggling to begin with? A business is suppose to profit not lose or break even. I'm not saying this as a DD owner. I'm saying this as a general player for anybody who owns businesses. We simply have to many businesses & EC items with such low player count and need for food but yet so much options to buy from.

Simple.. Make new guns that require core ammo and theirs your business.

Definitely don't need another ammo store, why would we when we have ammo all over the place? We already have 2 stores for an average of a 50 people player count. Ammo in events, ammo in spar complex. Just no.

Want a new business idea? Estate agents.. Have a somebody run a system that gets 5% of each house that sells.. It's simple.. Instead of houses being left empty for months on end and having to auction them whenever they can be bothered after endless people harassing them to sell houses. Btw this doesn't need to be player owned it could just be a normal npc estate agents for people to come and check a list of houses/apartments that's owned by npc that they could buy. Just an idea to make the housing administration easier and not a required position.

MoonWok was like, the one thing Rachel ever did; don't take that away! (even though the levels have changed like 4 times since then..) She made it and gave it to her friend IIRC.. then it was taken away within like 2 weeks. However Bluemelon set up one of the best stocking methods on the server for this shop, and I really would hate to see it NPC/Removed.

I had food balanced well between the 3 businesses (MW, DD, DH) they were each their own kinds of food.. then MD came along and literally sold one of the business owners the best food. I fixed it once we found out but the damage was mostly done and then JEM just did whatever he did with the food. Now there's a burger joint, and SP food is available again, and I still haven't mentioned EC items/stuff you get from quests and crates.

Basically if you want food businesses to be worth using, the amount of food types needs to be limited drastically. But that won't correct the fact players have thousands of food in houses from whatever event or working at X business. I still have piles of hundreds of worthless cheese in my house from when I owned Dairy Hut and there was no 'stocking cheese' or limits.

If you want more businesses, well we have a Business admin so talk to him. Beyond that I don't think adding more ammos or bombs will really improve the server. Best bet would be to use items that exist and even limit them, like combining GRC and EC and just keeping the best drinks available. Idk..

And don't mess with Exolia's job bruh.

He also faces the problem of getting it approved. No communication it seems and Amsel is never on. I dunno but i'd like to see it happen... be a goldmine for whoever takes it over if made player-owned.

My computer was broken last week; I just got my new one Saturday and have been on in almost all of my freetime since o.o.

This is a Katbot decision and not an Amsel decision anyways so I'm not sure why you'd bring that up. Katbot and I have had plenty of communication, we just haven't been on at the same time since he proposed the most recent set of suggestions. He knows he can make any of them without me if he wants, it's his own decision to wait for my opinion.

I didn't bring it up in bad terms. I should of said the reason, my bad. I was talking with him and he needs it approved as far as he was saying... You cant have communication if your computer was broke :P

Then great tell him he doesn't need your approval.. He didn't want to change anything without getting permission. I liked his ideas.

Actually I got most of my wealth from my own mining, and potion business I do.
I only broke even on what I bought PT for about a year to a year and a half after owning it.

PS. I owned it 2 years 2 months.

That's all?
It seems like 5 years ago since I bought it from scrimps for a Mp5 Navy.

And I only ran it for a handful of weeks, cause I didn't feel like mining myself but I didn't want to pay anyone either. Plus JEM put a bunch of restrictions and requirements.

I forget what you paid for it, wasn't it like 2m and I get free nitros4lyfe?

I have came up with ideas to add new businesses to era from Eggroll Shack :hint Rachel stole my idea and made it to what it is with MoonWok. I have thought about ideas to make more player involve with ammo shops like GRC was when it was a player owned businesses. I thought about Car custom shops, Pool Halls etc.

No body is going to get businesses up and running I have try to get staff to add businesses since Deophite, every new manager I come and pitch them new ideas and every person just rejects it.
PT doesn't really make much, I had to fight for them to add more ammo to PT before Shrimps even bought it. I think having another explosions business is a bad idea because the community doesn't buy enough explosives to keep two up and running good.

I thought about doing something different adding a mining factory where businesses can buy supplies from.I feel their is a small percentage of people that mines today or want to mine for businesses. So if businesses need some lead or iron the factory can provide them with some for 8 dollars a lead or iron. This is competitive with business pay and what you can buy it from a npc shop you can also add gun powder so businesses have to use gun powder to make ammo now and have them stock it in to casing
