First level I ever made, parts of it are pretty sloppy. Wish it would have let me use the Samurai lamp posts for some of the lamps. It's fun doing levels though.
That's cool! It's very creative-- especially the first one!

I like the bookshelves...lol it's like a big library. And you have a lot of stuff. I really like the floorings, especially in, well, all of them .

When I first saw the title of this thread I thought it was in the lounge and y'all were actively encouraging people to stalk to you.

My house before and after the renovation.

I'm no good at making GK levels, or any levels, really. Never really messed with it before. For right now, I guess I'm just content with the extra space. All I could really do was push the walls out as much as I could. I might upload the blank template here at some point if anyone's interested. However, I'll come back and post again once I get some furniture and have less stuff scattered around, at least make it look a little nicer. I like how you can see the outline of the old room.

Good time to ask - if I do a houserestoration, do I get all 3 levels + the custom 1st floor?

It's a little on the dark side, which is weird considering you have torchlamps in there. but I like it. Looks a little fancier than mine, haha, plus two extra floors. Does it still look like that then, if you're just linking to a ~9 year old post? :P

Screenshots of my house. These were taken a really long time ago on my old computer before I had a widescreen monitor. I have more recent screenshots of the house taken on my laptop but they were in 720p and the whole levels wouldn't fit into the screenshot. I donated my house to Romain when I quit so he may be able to provide a more recent picture of it.

Torch lamps added through the level editor do not provide light to the levels.

Weird, I have them in mine, you can see them in the shot, they light it. I don't have lights turned off.

Ah, bummer. :x Always sucks when that happens. As long as you have the key to it, Nico should be able to help you. With the scroll, that is.

idk maybe the lamp scripts got changed since I made mine but to be honest I prefer the dark because it is much easier on the eye and I spent a lot of time in my house.

I feel like I can't see anything in the dark, haha. But yours works, it's kind of ambient, as opposed to my big, boring, open room.

Indeed, the dark definitely paid off in my case but I can't take all of the credit because the house was designed and build as a collaboration between me and my brother.
