they just release stuff that's fun for a week or two then it just dies out
it's extremely hard to keep players occupied with limited resources. you should be thankful that unpaid staff members give the slightest **** about the server to develop new content. someone's gotta do it, right? if you don't like the content they release then play something else.

They should either leave or join the staff team and try and make your own content like I did.
