the only glue eating babies here are the people who keep developing for Graal when they've clearly outgrown not only in terms of age but also in skill

Well, let me link you to something.

http://graalonline.com/playerworlds/stores/signup

  • Stat's are not saved.
  • Trials cannot participate in events.
  • 5 hours of play per month.

When you look at all of those you realise none of them apply anymore. We only get 4 hours of actual play for trials. Trials can participate in events, however OBS mode will kill it, and stat's are saved.

On classic they were throwing a fit with Stefans proposal that the south part of the map be blocked off from the north half of the map because it would prevent questing and events.

Correct me if I am wrong but trials are listed as not being able to participate. However the questing itself would be damaged after the first quest (well second if you count pushing the grave to get the sword).

Stefan cannot accurately market Graal if everyone has there own set of restrictions. It would get to messy. While yes I realize those restrictions were ment for Zone and not the rest of graal there under the "Playerworlds" section of there main site. Hence why I have complained they need to fix the site up before pushing graal to hard as they are currently drawing a decent size audience that see's all the brokenness of the website and goes "this company may be sketchy".

The issue is security and control, not marketing, it's not as if it's being marketed correctly as it is now.
Perhaps if PWA hirings weren't ****-blocked it may be feasible for PWA to monitor for Stefan whether such scripted restrictions are being adhered to.
As for micro-transactions, I don't see why everyone should suffer as a result of wrongdoings by a few.

why would you literally rip monster hunter instead of making your own? i'll just play monster hunter.

rip off the idea, not the items, monsters, etc.

Yeah, I wondered the same.

Graal can be really fun with graphics like that monster he made. I remember someone made a dragon kinda like that that was cool.

No need to clone the game, but using similar ideas would be neat.

Alright, new guidelines!
The server is based on the concept of Monster Hunter, as expected!
But new content created by me and my team. The only things that are related to Monster Hunter will be the monster that I showed you, and armor, to make "tribute" to this fabulous game!
I started to fill the SQLite database (thank you mallard, Scriptless and a friend for guiding me in the design of the database).
I found two developer (including one standby), and Astram LUKEEE, I hope they will be useful to developement of this project! I also found a LAT / SFX, Astromatik who wants to help me in my project.
I also thank snk (xAndrewx) for helping me in my problem somersaults and came to see me on the server!

I will give you news about the project often! Thank you for your support!

WIP!!
I'm working on a big boss for testing! (not the biggest huh ;D)
I used my own technique (the noob-metter xD)
It's gonna be a boss, a crawler, It only walk with both arms in front of his body (center + tail) dragging on the ground.

Any reviews?

First monsters perspective is wonkey. It'll look like he's walking around on his side...unless you're doing a 2d sidescroller.

Massive update! I'm really proud of what i did in 2days!

HUD(Credits to Paladin!):

Player Show!: When you click on the player it shows the equipment he have equiped, including 2 options (the first one disable/enable the "info" to show where is that piece of the equipment and the last one is to close the GUI)

Also when your mouse is over a player, you can see his name and his weapon type:
