Revive zone!

Zone is in no position to be revived now due to the stubbornness of the management of Graal. In their greed-filled eyes, iZone is the better way to go while they allow ZonePC, once glorious, to rot on the wayside. Get it through your thick skulls, Stefan and Stephane. Instating new restrictions on a server is not the way to convince players to subscribe -- It only drives them away. It seems as if you have completely ignored, or simply misunderstood, the effect this restriction had. This was clearly evident when you, Stefan, on Zone Debug, levied a head image restriction -- something I WATCHED you make, and advised against. You went against my advice and pressed forth, losing the support of many of your long-term players.

Now, it appears as if you are not even listening to your paying customer's opinion. They want Zone PC back, so why are you ignoring them? Not all of these people are capable of playing iZone. Why are you abandoning these players who have been loyal to your game since they started?

Sadly it seems a new maniacal restriction is being implemented as part of the client when V6 is fully released.

Zone has weapons! Just like Era! It's really absurd to say it's just a copy of Era. We have even delayed the release for a full year to be able to improve it more.

Stefan was making fun of the "IT HAZ GUNS SO IT MUST BE ERA!!11" mentality of some players. But what Thor was saying is that the current Zone that's being worked on isn't really Zone...it's more like Shangri-La mixed with Era. I haven't played it yet so can't comment, but I don't like the way it's looking right now...we'll have to see.

Maybe it was changed to keep it looking the same, as iClassic and iEra, so the new iPlayers won't get confused why it's named Graal when it looks different.

I get that, but I would think that he would actually try to make the sting not so hit and miss... was hoping I would be wrong on the assumption.

As for the Zone thing, Stefan, you've screwed up again, you're not even worth ranting at for as to why.

Yes because we're sitting here saying that Zone is a copy of Era because of guns.

The screenshots in this thread just screams iEra with Shangri La mixed in with Zone's "battlegrounds"

I'm not sure if that analogy works differently in other countries, but to a developer who's been working on what is their home server for 5 consecutive years (*), and has remade/reintroduced/expanded upon far more original material than any other developer had post NPC-Server, it really doesn't make sense.

I can't help but think that lack of transparency between Graal's administration and its community is the sort of mistake that would get you laughed at on your first day of business management class.



I got laughed at, but it was for heavy handed communist ideologies and trying to apply them to the adult entertainment industry.

zone will never come back.
it lost its players (they quit, or moved on to another server). pc graal is barely growing & the people playing now are stuck with the server they're playing until graal closes.
