Despite the lag issues and disappointing initial turnout the situation improved enough for event hosting to last a good 4 and a half hours. I get the feeling that bi-weekly is too often at the rate the main servers are crashing (twice within the past 7 days), so I shall wait a week or 2 before deciding a new date.

Now normality has resumed, an events hosting night has been scheduled for Saturday August 11th, at the same time of 10 PM GMT/5 PM EST.
