Why would this even need to happen, I bet he's hardly invested any time and's just jelly other people have awesome equipment therefore creating a huge imbalance during pk and other such events. Please understand jin I mean no offence.

Sadly, thats the whole story. Most of the systems would have to be rewritten or rebalanced for the game to have a stable economy for a long time.
(I think these questions come up since 2006 or 2007 now, sadly there was never a real response except: no).

Can't see that happen, maybe they will use the new systems after iGK has been finished (if it ever will be) - I think it's 100% without the mudlib, so a reset would be recessary anyways.
