era's current situation

era is very active atm thanks to tim's many updates, but i believe there is the possibility to do even better
i've played a lot the past couple of days and it seems like there are 2 problems with the gangs that cause them to not be as active as they potentially could (i'm not saying they're innactive, the situation was WAY worst when alf was managing):

1. there are too many gangs. before there were 105 players online and we had to wait like 20minutes to find 2 gangs with 4 members each. this makes it hard for events to be an accurate measure of skill especially if a gang has 10 players to choose from and the other has only 4 (assuming that there are enough players for the events to take place)

2. there is more gangs ulms than raiding. in the past 2 days there have been very few raids (only 1 i think), and not because there aren't enough gang members online but because they are all spread out in too many gangs (this problem is caused by problem 1) AND because the gang bases are not desirable. i can assure u it's not only me: the vast majority of the people who i've asked have agreed with me that the old bases were better, especially for the raids with only a couple of gangs and not a huge amount of members. placing a poll on era or simply re-instating old BH base would be good ideas to see if gangs will be more active (i'm sure about it) with the old base format (aka smaller main level with less places to run away and avoid combat). i also think a limit on the number of gangs would be fit, since most gangs are basically playing as parties.
