Body Trans Problem?

There is no black box on v6, but most of Zodiac uses v5. What's up fp4?

I always see a green box on Mac V6... I posted it under bugs but no one has replied.
Does anyone else see green or is black a PC thing?

green box is a common problem that was never fixed on v5 for whatever ****ing reason

using zod's uploader always messes with my transparencies for some reason i used to get them to upload stuff by hand

This is kind of dependent on your graphics card if my memory serves, it doesn't happen to everyone.

The green box was a problem for Nvidia users but I -think- some ATI users were also reporting it. It's been around for a long time now, though, and it's fixed on v6.

It happens when your body changes zoom, and I thought v6 elminated the problem?

Are you sure you're using v6? I've never heard of this problem happening for all bodies, and I've never seen it happen to any on v6 Mac. Can you post a screenshot?

p.s black box around body and green box completely different issues. black box is zodiac's uploader system trolling you while green box = player's zoom and stuff changed. black box is probably a problem on both v5 and v6 while green box was supposed to be fixed on v6 and is a known problem on v5.

Can you attach a body uploaded and transed with Zodiac's uploader?

edit: you're sure it's a problem on v6 too? OP says otherwise

Please be more specific when you make bug reports. Can you attach one of those bodies or post the name of it?

I cannot, I haven't really played Zodiac since 2007, so I don't know what bodies I have.. Actually on PC I don't think I've ever seen this happen before.

So it is either a Mac or new version problem.

However, if you could perhaps let me know how I might find out what body I have on, I wouldn't mind finding out. :]

As for giving the actual image... That would depend if it is in my image folder or something ...

Looking through my bodies folder, it does seem like I have many bodies that have green around them.. That could be the problem? Mac thing?

Probably they're just not properly transparent, which is why I asked you to post one of them. I'm sure Jer or one of Zodiac's staff members would be more than happy to help you find the name of a body you're seeing green around to try to isolate this problem. Did you try asking one of them what the body was of a player you noticed?

Yes, someone told me to press E, open tailor, and check there.
zbody-jester100.png Apparently I've edited one and made this or something... I didn't even know I did any of that years ago.

Also, no I usually don't ask staff members anything, because they are usually a-holes as well as the players. (I must admit the two I asked on Zodiac were very helpful and replied within a good amount of time, nicely.)

On UnholyNation, all on the same day, I was in the tailor place and a group was talking about the staff members not doing anything, and one said one of the GP's was a "******" N word for black. I reported this to a GP on UN and the GP started cursing me out.

Later that day I started setting heads in the event room before an event started, and players started harassing me, I pmed the ET if he was going to do anything about them harassing me and he basically replied something like "lol nope".

I shouldn't judge staff members on different servers by UN though..
