Sucks that Bile is probably the best god for mages.

I would just like to see more high-end items for mages, although one new item did come out catering to mages.

I don't either because the black portion makes it hard to see details on the shield, but my vote doesn't really count since I'm competing with my own versions. However, I did include a slightly lighter green recolor in the middle of the color-changing one I made.

Why do you both think bile is best for mages....?

Also, 30 dex with as much speed as possible is best, you don't need anything else besides a decent amount of mana.

allows you to go rows+bunny tail/dt+rda/bda without having to eat literally every 20 seconds mid combat.

anything but bile requires you to either give up shield, ring, neck or cloak slot. also 96+ poison resist as mage is better than anything any other god offers

Why would you even want to use rows? Much simpler to use two Rings of Halloween. Keeps slots open (neck, cloak, etc). Also the poison resist is nice, you can get close to that with a few items and a scroll..all while (if brigid) keeping your regen and gloves

Are you satisfied with the items out currently? I just wanted to help mages out and suggest new items for y'all. But if you're happy, we can always work with other stats.

Also, what were the stats on the new mage ring? like -8 sus right?

str and con? this is why mages will always be underpowered. cus people think they can wander around with roes and forest shield and expect not to get merked by melee

All i'm saying is if you have enough dex and speed with a decent amount of mana, you're fine.

I'll give RoWs a shot when I save up some ECs for it, but right now I don't see the point when there's MUCH less expensive gear that is equal to if not better.

Am I happy with the current mage gear available? **** no. Theres one good mage ring out and theres only two of them. Everything else is melee based. Personally, I feel that the best items for a mage (not including the new ring) is ring of halloween / ring of thieves. And thats such a common item worth nothing.

Using anything else like Ring of Elrond will make you run at like 2 speed being an easy ass target for melee. Even someone in battle-mode with the crappiest gear can take out a mage that's using any ring besides speed rings.

We are losing mages extremely fast and I wonder why....

honestly, mage gear is purely speed and dex, magic+2 and some resists. it's pointless to get pow/wis because of how minimally it helps. I'm pretty sure if a ring +5 pow +5wis was released it wouldn't be used in PVP combat because of the lack of dex and speed. (and sustenance in most speedmage sets)

mage is rendered nearly useless if someone writes a level 107 resist scroll.

Personally, I think mages need a complete overhaul, but that will never happen...
