There is intentionally a wait in between adding items so players can't spam it, and potentially spam the server, so I think that may be why it seems unresponsive.

Great idea, would suck to have a huge list then have to re-add it.

I said awhile ago (or saw?), houses and cars should have 'Key' items for your inventory. Then you can trade them through item trade and advertise them without a PR.

One of two reasons (or both) this has never been implemented, either it's too much "work", or they're all simply too lazy.

Neither of those are correct. It hasn't been implemented because the existing item system isn't capable of handling custom items in a useful way. Fixing it would require either hacking onto the existing item system or completely replacing it. The former is a bad idea, the latter pretty much requires a reset (as well as everything on the server being rescripted). Too much work, not too much "work".

I'll look into this. Might be a way to check if you own a car or a house. Although if it is possible I doubt you'll get specifics (which car or house #).
