Halloween Events!

Join us on Era on October 30, 2011 for a day of exciting halloween events!

We will be hosting a series of events starting at around 4 PM CST time, the prizes will be special Halloween items and other rare goodies

Some of the plans and events for halloween are:

Zombie Hunt
Halloween Raffle
Halloween Chance
Special changes to the Gun Rental shop
Halloween Shop

We have much more planned, remember to get here early so you don't miss anything!

For those of you wondering when the raffle will begin, I plan to start it off around 5:30 or 6 PM CST time. The rest of the events will be hosted at random. Don't miss out!

If you have any questions, feel free to post them or send me a forum PM.

Please don't post unneeded/unwanted posts, they will be deleted.

I don't know if this is unwanted, but it's just my opinion.
Warning: This post contains traces of negativity.

October 31st is a Monday, therefore everyone has school/work the following day. Based on these times the majority of players (EST and Euro respectively) will have to be on from 6PM or 11PM till 9PM or 2AM (assuming the raffle and post-raffle stuff takes an hour minimum).

I don't know about you but if was a Euro I'd be extremely pissed about this schedule. And the general age group for Era (12-16) will probably be out scoring free candy (I sure as hell will) at those times because that is dusk till curfew (which is extremely *** on Halloween/mischief night for obvious reasons).

Long story short, I think you should probably make it somewhat earlier/shorter if not change the date entirely.

Hey, this could just be my schedule... I'm sure you all enjoy getting no sleep on a school night and not going out for Halloween so you can get these boss pumpkins or whatever is being given out.

Won't be able to attend, i've got work 6-10 PM (eastern time). Not to mention all the people with lives who are going to haunted houses and whatnot.

This should be on saturday or sunday, honesty.

I've considered this but I'm not entirely sure if I'll be able to host them on Sunday. I'm not sure if I myself will be online, and players will still have school/work on Monday so it's the same problem really.

I'd host them on Saturday but I think it's too late now, many won't be aware of the events.

Side note: Mexico has no school all week, ftw.

Well, this is all very true, but perhaps you should've put a note somewhere 2-3 days ago when I asked when you'd host them (even now, you should put it on the announcement board).

Sunday isn't Halloween though... you can sleep in on Sunday morning and stay up that night, you can't do that on a Monday. Plus I think the biggest problem is everyone has plans for Halloween whatever they may be. Saturday could work fine too.

I honestly don't care, as long as it isn't on Halloween itself (going to a party :3)

We were still planning out what we were going to do for the Halloween events so I didn't announce it until we had everything ready.

What I might end up doing is hosting some of the events on Saturday and the rest on Sunday.

I read that. My question was more of why we are holding a popularity poll that holds no weight. It's no surprise though.

edit: as an owner you would think you would make some kind of compromise. Like split the activities in half or something. People who can't make it Sunday have their fill and the people who can't make it Saturday have theirs.

I already explained why I didn't choose Saturday for the events. I'm still not sure what he means to be honest, his PMs and forum posts are confusing me :<

Nonetheless, the events will be held on Sunday and I'm not changing that again.

Can't wait to see! I will definitely be along to play some events! Although, maybe you should get some staff to host the events for the players on the other side of the globe who play Graal when you guys are asleep, then everybody can join in ^_^

I don't want to tell you that you are straight up wrong about that, but most newer players don't even know about the graal forums, let alone use them.

Could of put a poll on both, but I suppose that could be abused in some way or another with people "double" voting.
