Zombie Map: Players start as humans, 1 or 2 start as zombies. humans get weapons, zombies get swords, but have greatly increased speed, while humans are followed by limited area of sight (EASILY done by a script and an image and I LOVE THE EFFECT), while zombies can see just fine.

City Map: Everyone loves crowded city maps.

Smoke Grenades: Covers an area and jams the radar in the smoke covered area?

Class Skills: While alot of the classes simply differ in speed and available weapons, classes could have passive skills that enable the player to actually do better using the weapons that class is supposed to use. Grenadiers get longer mortar distance... Light infantry move 10% faster.... stuff like that?

Kill Display: Move the ugly looking 'Aeko killed Tenchery' ui into the top right corner of the screen, like other shooters have it. It removes it from the chat area space and my opinion is it would look nicer in the top right corner... Also, rework it's ugly graphics, I recall the large X is quite ugly.

Remove 'gold only' hotkeys: It's almost game-breaking to be able to instantly change from lrpulsar to dual shotguns in a fight with someone, and the ability to instantly heal the same way. In addition I'd like to see a skill bar added that can be toggled on and off, that would make seeing your hotkeys and rearranging them, easier.

Perms: I know zone is probably set to reset in the future, but I remember that perm weapon events always drew a crowd. They stopped after awhile, but I remember them as very nostalgic events. I'd like to see them return as more than "Death-match for 30 Pipes!"...

Planets: Essentially they are what make zone, zone. But several of them are quite ugly and under-used. Remove several of them to keep the player-base together while it's small, and work them back in as the player-base grows.

Microphones:Moreso to stefan, I'd love to see the mic ability actually work for teams to communicate. It'd be ****ing hilarious.

Rank Ups: Other shooter do it, please follow suit. Design rank badges for every rank and designate them next to the players name. Just as well, add quite a few more ranks. It's boring to never rank up for longggggg periods at a time. Also, categorize more weapons that can only be used at certain ranks. I believe only a few melee weapons do this atm. I think this could also be a way to remove the gelet shop weapons and make them available at higher ranks, while limiting the rank trials may obtain, making them obtain gold for any hope to rank up enough to acquire the weapons. I believe GK does this essentially by cutting trials off at lvl 10. You often see GK players resubmitting just to get their levels back.

New UI: While the old UI is okay, a new one should be made to make it much easier to navigate. I currently mean the ui for the q menu and class select; but to be honest, zone uses quite to many of the easy to make ugly blue gui's.

Smaller Maps: Most of Zones maps are quite large in size. I believe zone could do with smaller, or rather medium maps: Like SoG used to have :P

Medics: Rework the aspect of playing medic. Medics should acquire the ability to revive others that die and are put on a revive timer. Would probably remove the death point from the players score.

Death: Rework death to include a respawn time. Have the player have a choice in spawning at the dropship after the small amount of time, or spawn at one of the currently controlled bases. Medics can revive players during this short period of time. ALSO during this time, the players screen will switch focus to follow the screen of the player that killed him. I did this in my old gun server so I know it's possible, and very cool :P...

Skill Points: Have players earn skill levels in different categories of weapons by using and killing with them more. These levels would provide more affinity for use with certain genres of the weapons. For example; Players apt in using machine guns would get 5% faster spinning up rate on all machine guns for each level gained in it. Up to, of course, a maximum level.

Sprinting: While tumbling with f can be used to move very quickly in a short amount of time, I'd like to see the same sort of effect by holding another key to use up energy to move at a slightly faster pace, while unable to fire, or use other actions (other than turning). Sprinting would also include a fun sound to indicate your running (symphonia used to have this and your player would sorta lean forward to sprint and go 'patpatpat') xD

Ammo: After the reset, return limited ammo and ammo storage upgrades back to the store. These were very nice to buy when you had to choose between an expensive new weapon, or slightly cheaper, upgrade to your ammo capacity (upgrades would be like +100 ammo capacity each, with something like 1000 being the max obtainable ammo capacity.)

Gelet Store: Follow the advice from the Rank up idea, and then follow Shadow's idea, and zodiacs path, and make potions available to upgrade certain aspects of playing for a time.
