is there a limit to the amount of gangs that can be created?
do points have any significant usage besides for show?
can you lose points? if so how?

There's no limit for gangs. Only one gang can be owned at a time, however.

You should have given points a purpose before releasing it, imo. Also, points should just be a measure of activity-- do not allow gangs to lose points!

They're not going to "lose" them exactly. I have something else in mind. They WILL be losing points but there will be a purpose.
