Skills need lvl's

I was thinking that skills need to have there own levels. with each lvl you advance you get bonuses, and new items to use. If this is used they shouldn't go by the already used skills such as mental, physical, ect... so it gives older and newer players something to do, and everybody has to work for it. =)

Mining: As you level your mining, you can mine better ores, and use different picks.

Smithing: As you level your smithing, you can melt down different ores.

Add crafting: As you level your crafting, you can craft different jewelry, clothes, ect.

Fishing: As you lvl your fishing, you can use better rods and catch better fish for more food.

Woodcutting: as you lvl your woodcutting, you can cut down better trees, such as oak, redwood, ect. and use the better axes needed to cut down the better trees.

Cooking: as you level your cooking, you can cook the bigger fish, make better bread, and put together the best meals.

Of course a lot of you will know where i got these ideas... but it is a great idea, and would be much more fun on gk, cause gk is not point and click lol. could even add skills like hair cutting where people advance in more stylish hair cuts, and could charge people for the cut. Maybe eventually add there own hair styles.

Any input good or bad would be very much appreciated. This stuff would pretty much be a total revamp of gk. but it really needs this. As in all my suggestions, you could work on one skill at a time and change them as needed. =)

This is a total rough idea. I would like to see what skills other people can come up with. I will add some when i put a good bit more thought into this.
