also looking into it almost all guns share close to the same stats such as mt and smgpk and hk416 and sten and ppsh. making the obvious choice price-wise the sten having almost the same stats as all of those. mt even has longer reload than the smgpk. there needs to be a little bit of change when going up the price ladder or why upgrade.

Its clip is the lowest a rifle can be, (24).
Its reload is very high, (.45).
Therefore, its limitations are vivid, (ask the owners).

Simply because viewable stats aren't changed that does not mean there aren't differences. Their clip sizes and reload times differ (amongst other non-capitalized features), and if adjust to the standards of PK that is brought forth by the re-balance, you will understand the significance of that.
