Old Era was MUCH slower.

This is .1 so this is in-between old era and now.

Even so, the initial thought was to create a drastically different set of weapons and give them some distinction.
Tier 1, for example, isn't as good as tier 2, and there is a major difference between tier 1 and 3. Before the problem was there was a tier system and that was:
Consumer weapons, business weapons, rare weapons.
Everything up to the TG and MS could be considered consumer then you had the weapons that were purposely made godly (P2Ks, Enforcer, Ravson5, Ap7s, etc.) because they were locked to businesses, such as PI, PPA and EFBI. Plus it gave leverage to business players and made even casual players and "expert" players an easy target, but in a way that made Era's ecosystem, back then, functional.
Now the balancing is more friendly towards the new age but adds variety in the weapons. I welcome the change, those who don't simply are tied up in thinking about being able to run at you with a weapon, they don't like having to actually press D instead of pushing it down and also having to think of where they are going instead of having their strafe on and running up and down the map.
Lastly, be happy you'll save more ammo. Happy hunting ***s.
