Mafia Life - Is it back?

As some of you may remember, I had a project going known as Mafia Life. We had incredible progress, but came to a screaching hault when I had a child. It's been some time, and my kid is older now, where I feel I can start up the project again.

PAYROLL? Yes:

A couple changes have been made in my life, finacially. Yes, I will be hiring dev only positions, and there is a pay system. This will be recorded, as of the ammount of work is submitted, then time spent on tag. It won't be chump change either. I will be taking your hard work into consideration, and be paying you as you should be. This does not mean, the LAT will submit a level, and ask for $100.00 for this, is not worth it.

I need all dev positions, at this time. Please contact me via
[email protected]
Skype: IzariusRyudo
Please submit your own work.

NOTE: If I do get a team together, we will have a meeting, and if all lights are green, I'll purchase the server, and hopefully finish within a couple months, or less.

Any questions? Please contact me for some personal contact info, if you are interested. Thanks!

- Kaide (IzariusRyudo)

you actually seem to know what your doing, which is refreshing. But can i suggest something? Have your LAT team work on the levels in an offlineeditor or on testbed and get the GMAP done or fairly close. There is NO reason to own a server for that. Have your NAT team get started on Test Bed.

A cool idea is to simply use google docs and giving say your lats access. Have them upload the levels there (like the RC browser) then anyone can download/upload the levels. AND it even says what levels were recently updated so you can get the latest levels. Use it like a browser and your lats can work together.

Then, if all goes well buy a server for 6 months (can you still do that?) or a year and bam thats all you have to pay out.

However, i will warn you - there isn't much reward in getting a server to Classic. When the server hits Classic, you NO longer own it. So if you do something to the PWA's disliking, your gone. Happened to me.

Lastly, buying a server and paying Dev's is a waste of money. You could buy a wii for your kids or take a day trip to six flags or cedar pointe. Please consider these options more. Or hell a night at the bar would be worth it. Nonetheless, good luck

I agree with him

Buy the server if you want, but don't pay everyone. Go and buy your kids a puppy or something. Don't waste it on strangers from around the world, unless your a millionaire or something... If your a millionaire, it's ok.

You make great points, but I everything is almost done. Just got to finish up a couple more projects, which I need a small team for. This is why I am paying. I also am looking for talented people for these positions.

For the puppies and kids thing. My kid doesn't need much. She is not even 1 yet. Almost, but not yet. I WANT to finish this project, and go classic. This is kinda selfish, but I want to play the server. Like, not manage it. I honestly want to play it. Why? 1) I designed it 2) It (in my mind) is a really fun, for a long period of time. Extensive game play.

The content in this "Graal" server... should be in a actual 3D mmo. But you know what? I don't want to go through the court stuff to get my idea copyrighted and what not and be super specific on what my idea is now, because, its not perfect. I talk to a lot of people about the server, and add and edit my thoughts ALL the time. Making it even better this is why I am not letting it go. This is why I'm also willing to pay employees. It'll be finished.

No matter how old your child is, they need something fuzzy. Like a puppy.

See? Isn't it cute? Isn't it? It's FUZZY, and looks like my awesome dog. Depending on how old the kid is, you can put a puppy in a kids face, and they will get happy. THEYRE FUZZY! Fuzzy Balls of Fuzz surrounded by more Fuzzyness.

Away from the REALLY CUTE BALL OF FUZZ, it is your choice whether you pay your staff team or not, but I really don't think you should pay them. I know I wouldn't.

But it is your choice.

And, remember, FUZZBALL.

I am offering pay, to pull the best of the best, out of hiding. Many years ago, you could find everyone who knew everything about coding, on graal. Now it's a mystery on if someone actually knows what they're talkin about all the time.
