I also know several online games that do not follow this philosophy. There are achievements and quests on other games during holidays that require you to be higher level to complete them.
Comparing the game you are speaking of with the achievements and higher levels required to finish the quests should in now way be used as a comparison to Graal Kingdoms.

The game in which you speak has plenty of content to hold the player over, where Graal Kingdoms has come down to players waiting for the content to hold them over.

It's not a rule, no, but I'd say it's pretty logical. And why so defensive? I wasn't dissing the event what so ever, and like the others, found the three first quests to be cool.

You're assuming I'm low geared and angry about not being able to do the fourth one from the sound of things. Don't jump to conclusions, once again, why so defensive?

Of course there is, but that's games with hours and hours of content and hundreds of thousands of players. On Graal Kingdoms you have to appeal to everyone, not a selected group of players (I wouldn't agree with only making content for low geared players either).

Not really trying to be defensive. I only want to make sure you clearly explain yourself before you leave feedback, otherwise it's not helpful.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. By releasing these things and receiving your feedback, I can hopefully provide more enjoyable events and quests for future holidays.

Were the prizes as nice as the halloween events, or did "low geared" people only get more EC in which to feed to the "high geared" for a small amount of diamonds?

Nice change of pace, for Halloween at least. Although newbies are still neglected, in a way that now they find it difficult to even participate.

GK in it's whole ain't newb friendly, that's a fact.

So why bother making something now for the noobs if the gameplay itself won't let them stay for some longer time?
That's why I am glad that this years halloween was more for the people that were still playing GK.

Until GK improves the game in it's whole so that new players find GK a fun game to play, until then I don't see the point of having so many newb friendly events.

That kind of thinking is ultimately what put GK in the spot it have been in for quite a while now.

Wrong, there have been many events in GK where new players could enjoy the event.
Good example of this is the Easter event where GK managed to get over 100+ players. What happened after a few weeks? All the players left bringing GK playercount back to a average of 15-20.

The real problem why GK is now like this, is because of GK never being completed. Leaving GK with many problems (still has a lot of problems) which should of been fixed ages ago.
Thus meaning that the high high management, talking about the company that owns graal (not talking about tig or the managers before him), is the one that brought GK to where it is now.

I won't discuss this any further because this will end up as a different thread.

I wasn't talking about events, there have been some nice ones of those. I am talking about the extreme difficulties a new player have with adjusting to GK's gameplay or how there's only two ways for new players to become something:

* Hours and hours and hours of grinding diamonds in haunted house
* Friends
