Why do we continue to give "Staff" the higher attributes of being Admins of such Gangs and Businesses when they have little to none of being a Era Player's experience.

"Oh, this Event's Team guy, he can manage Events, LETS GIVE HIM Gang Admin TOO!"

Show me the logic!

Wouldn't it of made so much more sense to make like, someone who is fully experienced and dedicated to leading / managing Gangs, the GANG Admin ?

The current Manager and two high admins were never good Era players either.

Then again, neither were Chris or Alfonso from the previous management.

I've never seen Wasser or Akeon play Era when they weren't staff.

Me and RG discussed this yesterday, and neither has he.

Wasser did something to get staff though.. i forget something with the shipka

but Akeon was gp that got more power. Thats how most o GBAs and ETAs are picked from GPs :s which is kinda dumb

When can we please start voting for Player-Environment staff, such AS the Gang/Biz admin ....

We seriously need a President of Era. The president wouldn't be staff, but would play a high role like they do.
Basically the Staff run ideas, and the President, from a hardcore-Era players' point of view would see them over to make sure that's actually what the players would enjoy.

The President would also have the power to add a branch of players[maybe 4, 2 on one side, 2 on the other, President makes the last vote] to even out the Players wants/needs vs Staff's ideas

Reduced means "minus", or in 5th grade terms, "take away". If you "take away" a negative, it's a positive.

I think its a good idea to punish those who abuse the gang system. There is no reason to make unnecessary ranks. It shows lack of care and organization within the gang. Imagine if i set trial pr's to "YOU SUCK" or "NEWB." It wouldn't look good. It is about time someone steps up and fixes this issue. We are all just use the old way, and so the abusers need some time getting use to it. But im sure the people that had the ranks as **** and such are happy that this is being enforced. (yes someone had that rank)

1. What is there to abuse? We set a legitimate rank conforming to the gang theme and Akeon warped to Zeross multiple times, de-nicking him and removing his gang rights (mid-raid). Then did the same to me when I fixed his rank, he obviously has nothing else to do.. yet they have two players running the job.

2. Your comparison has no validity to it, doing so would be a violation of Playerworld Staff Rules, so it isn't allowed. How is that anything similar to giving a specialty player a legitimate rank?

3. This being the first time the issue has ever been a issue in what... 7 years? I don't see your point. (and lol @ abusers)

4. And that's why there's a /leavegang command? And a option to auto-deny gang invitations? If someone had that rank they obviously deserved it as some sort of punishment, and didn't mind or even enjoyed it because they didn't leave the gang afterwords.

Giving someone an inappropriate rank is one thing, but you shouldn't be punishing leaders for giving custom or silly ranks to friends -- they're just having fun. Stop worrying about stupid **** like this, and remember that this is a game you are running.
