What's Been Going On

Ok. Well I know Zone has been dead for a while, but it still had a couple players. A couple weeks back it was holding a decent playercount. Then it all stopped. Even Dante396 has stopped playing. Is this because of school starting or has even the people who have been playing now given up?

I'd play it if some others came on. Maybe on Sunday an event can be hosted and we can play on Sunday. Reply back.

It finally hit the players: No new content, constant douchebaggery (I do not do this to new players, just ooola and the others who deserve it namely anyone who thinks v4 was good)

School, they start out the year with tons of work. And if your also wondering about events, I stopped it for a bit because of "Week of Events" from a couple weeks ago. Either way I don't see any type of event being able to help Zone much anyway

"Perm weapons are back! We'll be hosting 1 of each of the old event weapons (Blue Pistoles, Red Pistoles, and Reapers!) To make sure everyone has a fair chance of earning it people with the weapons perm cannot win or join the event!"

Well you can just host events a lot still. Even if they are not big prizes, still host them, or semi big prizes at that. The events brought the community together and got some players back on. It was fun during the event weeks. I say we host some more.

Stephen's a ***** anyway, fire him and bring back STEFAN, stefan did an actual job on zone whether he was online or not, i mean stefan used to not go online for ages and we practically had a manager yet zone was alive, Stefan did release a couple of good updates, what's stephen brought to us? nothing he's worse than Dan, that's saying something.

I think the updates (Small and probably going to flat out blow but I'll wait until their out to cast my judgement) are waiting for V6 which Stefan is working on while keeping up them star trek dolphins cash flow.

They wouldn't host perms just like that. Really we just need some updates and then events (that don't host perms) and build up a decent playercount. Then possibly start hosting off perms.

perms wouldn't even fix the playercount i don't see why people are talking about them tbh, it's just like a normal event... 30 days rps for example butttt perms would actually make people not come back most likely for the next event if it was just a 30 day event cause they'd have it so yah, but perm weapons won't fix the server, doubt anything will, bunch of retarded staff = retarded server.

It's kind of hard to host with a playercount of 0 players or even 5 players. BUT, I actually think it would be an OKAY idea to try hosting perm weapons and players that already have that perm weapon cannot participate in the event. It might get a few players, but even if it doesn't...whocares? zone already has a low playercount (0 players). It won't do any harm.

Honestly, Dante396 is right about Zone needing a good development team (SOMEONE FORCE GAMBET TO DO SOME DEVELOPMENT FOR ZONE ... use violence if needed

How about you guys take it off as a gold server.... That would be a good start. Why the hell should a server with a 0 playercount be considered gold? No matter how good the content is, it still shouldn't be there. I'd play zone every once in a while if I was able to use my classic subscription. I don't understand why you don't even try that. No reason not to.

Because Stefan is the one who can take that off? We can't just take it off dude, if it was that easy it'd have probably been done already. No one said a gold server had to be the best too

It's all about marketing.

You want people to pay and you want to make money out of a product? In this case, you would like to have the best servers in the gold part, this way, you make people gain interest in paying for a gold subscription.

Although, with the new system, those who do not own a permanent classic account are kind of paying for the servers under the classic tab.

Meh.. it had a pulse for a little while back, when Stephen first took management. I say we just need more staff, even if you have three ETs, 2 GPs, and a few admins on.. that's 7 staff online, and the pattern i noticed with Zone, if you can break 10 players many more will come.

Except those events will get boring, like they always have.

We need a stable development team with a steady stream of actually decent updates coming along and not retarded health bars that ruins a fun event and a broken system that shows how much health was taken from you.

Just speaking from experience, if you can get above about 7, that is usually enough to draw more people on.
