It's not like they'd be able to use it anyway. Some of the tiles are just copied from ALttP and increased in resolution, then refined. Also, with the JPG I provided, it would just look stupid

Dude you're like the only one I didn't see that much work from, so I could barely tell this or that is from you. Good job I guess, all tiles look awesome

I'm not exactly a pixel artist anyway. I just did minor fix-ups and some other small tiles

Angelu had another version too, :o where EVERYTHING was form ALttP just 2x

this one has original influence aswell

I'll admit it's a bit more square but square doesn't necessarily mean bad. I'm trying to keep to the shape as much as possible, but it was a decision I made based on the design I was going with. I ended up rounding it off anyways. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by lost charm.

Noise and busyness seems to be an issue here, and I'm going to try to resolve it. Mostly with the floor, however. I may lessen the detail going on with the table, though.

It went from an almost cubical/rounded kid's play-room table to just...a table.

I mostly like the floor, if you dial down the contrast it might be neater but it works as it is right now. But the table is all kinds of off, the original looked like a few boards of crudely-worked wood that retains its natural texture or whatever, yours has lots of additional lines that make it look like it has been worked further and yet there is still the funny lines from the original, except they now look worse because you interpreted them as rather harsh and dark. Hope this helps.
