I liked Era when the mall was open 24/7 and it was the "hot spot" I'd buy out Ammo Mart and Gun Points AK47 ammo and go re-sell it at a higher price. Made good money. Thats way back when me and salesman ran Eras market tho. :]

k180s were a dime a dozen back then too

I had my old graphic one up until the reset. It was unusable, and I totally ripped people off with it.

Yay, another nostalgia thread ^_^ I actually like these threads. Gives me hope that one day someone will come and upload everything from like and older time and just wipe everything else.

I liked Era when YenroY played, just in general. He is such a cool guy.

I liked Era when Terisu was around still and we annoyed so many people though

Some other fond memories follow in no particular order:

Dancing at unstick me, Chaos White <3, Old Event House, Ocelot <3, Steve Irwin Memorial gathering, Wil Soul leading Jen and I on a "Dance in Gang Bases on FAQ tag" day

and my most fondest memory of all, probably the first screenshot I took ever which is when I first figured out ALT+2 haha...

They should open an 'Old Era' separate from the current, start from when era was like all that

I think its OK for staff to have fun if they include players in the fun, it certainly does make the server less boring. Maybe instead of hiring worthless ETs they should hire jesters to entertain people by setting off bombs at unstick or using funny staff weapons to annoy players.

I dont know where along the line someone established this as a bad thing, I dont think it is.

What makes me mosts angry about Era though is the fact that staff will act immature, then cover it up and speak with their perfect grammer and act all buff. I think if there was less of this, era would be better off.

If you're talking about that plain white boat that just had the blookat efbi computers in it, that was actually a cool staff tool/toy.
It created a "minimap" of any level and showed dots for where players were, and you could mouseover the dots to see that player's name and chat text, and you could use chat commands and clicking on the dots to kill players or drag them around' etc.

something similar was evetually used to make the SatComm thing for PI and was used to spy on bases during raids.

Also when you could do suicide bombings with p4, and when mongrel mob was around and
oh man to many memories
Oh and that one time torque or someone made that staff block base on the beach and all the recruiters in lc were there lol.

I loved that, I remember me and keith digging up like 150 P4's and putting them all in BB's heal room then strapping one to ourselves and owning ourselves and anyone who came in. Nitros and P4's should be diggable again. Down with Pyrotech.
