Resignation

I have decided to resign from my position as Manager of Era. I have too many things going on to my life to do the server justice and rather hand it off to someone else. It's been a long road for me, ever since I was hired way back. I had both my ups and downs, however, I am happy to say I enjoyed my stay.

After much consideration Chris Vimes will fulfill the post.

Good luck to you Era (and chris)!

PS: I will stay as a PR to help Chris with possible situations that arise.

My first act as manager is to move Era away from this gang and gun violence theme. I am rather fond of ponies and unicorns, so we will now move the server in that direction. Also we will be changing the name to My Little Pony Online.

lol, so me? I was the only manager between Deo and Squirt. I'd be really disappointed in myself if you actually think I did a worse job than Deophite, Daz, Icarus, Smu, etc.

In my defense, I brought the ranked spar, bounty system, event bot, pawn shop, and ****ing helibombs to Era. I did make a lot of promises without following through, but to be totally honest being manager sucks all of the fun out of developing for this server. Please cut Chris, and future managers, some serious slack because it's you and your ****ty attitude that makes us want to just say **** it and let the server rot. You're not doing Era any good by treating the people who spend countless hours of their time on trying to improve your server like total ****ing ****. There's no unicorns in My Little Pony. You should make being a unicorn cost gelat, or make staff unicorns.

While I don't disagree that "My Little Pony" (a.k.a Era Mk II) should have paid unicorns, I would just like to clearify that there were unicorns within "My Little Pony" the series.

I actually thought you did pretty well.
It seems like people are determining whether a manager is successful or not based on visibility and playercount.
If you're doing most of your development on Era Dev then your visibility is going to be low.
And because Graal in general is dying server playercounts are down across the board.
Era now has an average playercount of about 40.
Unholy Nation's average is about the same.
Zodiac's average is about 45 (likely due to the removal of trial limitations i.e. no observer mode on Zodiac).

Any manager from now on is going to have a hard time keeping the server above water. Graal isn't attracting new players, so they need to start trying to poach players from the other servers. First thing I'd be doing is getting in contact with Stefan and trying to make a deal to remove observer mode from Era as well.

I 2nd no observer mode on Era.

It's hard trading with trials when they go into observer mode.

Also, I Hate pking trials and they go into observer.

You did a great job as manager, Squirt. You always had the best interests of Era in mind, and I hope you stick around Era as a PR and continue to help out the server and me.

I'm working on some new ideas now and I hope to see Era back into the 100+ playercount daily. I'll try to release some more information on my plans in the following days.
