For me personally? The person who gave me a short tutorial kind of thing (DarkRazor) and the guy who was the big influence in my development era (Codein).
TOgether? About 8 years worth, I'd say.

Kind of surprising how many people I still talk to today were actually from long ago. I haven't really picked up new people to talk to, mostly just the same old people. Also keep in mind I mainly only played 2000-2004, and had very sporadic intervals between 2006-2010. But here's the list:

Abjorn/Corey (2002-2010)
Kain4lyfe (2001? - 2010)
James Ryzon (2004-2007) <-- Strongly missed
Matt/LordVyse (2003? - 2004?, 2010)
Grey (2007-2010)
Seph (2006-2010)
Crono (2007-2010)

Those are the main people I've grown to like over time, there are a lot more, MANY from N-Pulse and many more from Babylon that I haven't seen in years. I listed James because he was a specifically good pal.

There are also a few more from more recent years, but I'm not going to list them because I didn't exactly "grow up" with them.

EDIT: I forgot about Darkriders. The first guild/family I officially led. Thanks to all who joined. And (The Amazon Women), thank you for allowing that guild passed, I had made many TAW members mad having that tag.

First person I ever met was a guy named Alucard, he taught me how to change my head and body and stuff in Unholy Nations, never saw him again though, heh.
I was too much on/off on Graal, coupled with the fact I never stayed in a playerworld for more than an hour was why I never had many long term friends to chill out with, was mostly just random peeps i would talk with
