Pretty sure the 3D engines they're running on the iPhone uses them, but again I say if it was for Graal, an MMO, I doubt you'd be seeing mapping like that in ANY MMO.

Yeah you do o_o You should see bump/normal mapping in pretty much any MMO made in the last...5+ years. It's not exactly an uncommon practice.
