Possible solution(s) to more PvP battles

Or maybe just limit AC to -50 or some other arbitrary number in regards to PvP.

Nice idea but most people have around -50 in pvp to begin with. I have -58 in normal but can buff it to -84 if I really wanted to.

Well like I said, the -50 was just a placeholder since I don't really know what is normal.

I agree that AC should be lower or removed completely giving another armour upgrade system which is structured better.
