Update - Player Status

Hey guys, I added some player status updates to improve the gameplay a bit. Now you don't have to look away from your character to get a quick idea of how much HP or Energy you have left.

HP is red, and Energy is blue. It's new - so it may need some revisions (maybe even a few bug fixes) but give me your overall opinion... suggestions?

The energy bar should act the same way as the hp bar. (Have it completely disappear when not in use)
My player doesnt look sexy with it following me none-stop even if it is clear xD

Just a thought, I also got the same suggestion from some other players, so I imagined that it would be a good change.

Looks like a good update, and an even better one once the display problems are fixed

. It might be better to make it more like a progress bar, however, so you can more easily see what portion of energy you have left.

A great little addition, I used to hate looking for the hp/energy on the gui interface.

I also added a red "damage notification" circle under the player. It only displays when you receive damage, but quickly fades.

It's pretty creative, good job Stephen.. At least you've got content steadily flowing this early in your position.

Should probably be smaller and cleaner against the background. Also could do with an outline defining the max.

nice, thu i would prefer to have hp and energy under the player.

i say, turn the image around, move it under the player and add a way to turn it off/on!

A disable button would be hawt as well

Yea, I think that'll be the next revision - I may redo the graphics entirely, a few days with them has already made me pretty sick of them.

Nice..Things are going steady already. Myself and others would like a on/off button, it's a change for "older players" and doesn't help us as much as it gets in the way.

Well yes, Since there is going to be disable option i think so.. Personally i think everyone would disable it, when you use a weapon (or jetpack) on energy everyone can see howmany ''shots'' or time you have left..

Same for HP, When someone knows your on low HP he attacks you faster then when he doesnt know.

But when you turn it off, you just can't see other people's hp right, but they can still see yours.
