Food system...

Please slow down the food-depletion rate.

It might be ok for melee because they only have to regen health but for us casters who have to regen both sp and hp it's annoying as fk.

If I fight someone half-good I run out of food before the battle is over pretty much.

plz fix

We already slowed it down quite a lot from how it used to be. I spent a lot of time trying to balance it and find a good depletion rate, I really think it's fair now.

I agree with Felix digestion was only slowed when your doing nothing, when you fight you still spend 1 food per 1 health you regen, i use a full food bar in a fight, Against a decent fighter i need to eat mid-battle to. Also yeah it's worse for mages

idling it's fine. but if you're out fighting you're gonna have to eat like 100 turkey legs to keep up. it's *** :<

id like the option to hotkey the food.. so its easyer to eat in battle...

Most fighters don't wear anything with decent depletion. Most melee combatants change to Speed Ammy, Demon Stone, RDA, or otherwise. It should be obvious why food is eaten up so much when you take damage.

I'm pretty comfortable with the rate like it is now. Fights shouldn't last like two hours. They get boring to watch.

The depletion rate is fine. It makes sense that when fighting alot of energy is used and so food needs to be consumed. Fights, as Draenin pointed out, aren't supposed to take long, good players finish fights within a minute or two.

The option to convert to Bile is always there if food is that much of an issue. Whether you struggle or not isn't my wish, but it's an element of the game. You decide which god to follow and understand the benefits and drawbacks of following each god. Any further reductions in the food bar will only damage Bile further and that is why i get to vote. You want to eliminate, or lessen, a problem you all face because you don't follow Bile. By that logic i can suggest op'ed relics (like gloves of the sun) to be an element of every god.

It's disturbing how easy some of you want GK to be.

Consider the percentage of the population that is bile, i could potentially be miles out here but I'm going to suggest that it's over 80, making the food LESS of a problem could even that out and make people switch to different gods.

You're right eating 50 +100 foods in one melee battle makes complete sense, totally. I eat 5 large pizzas every 5 minutes while I play back yard football 4 srs.

I don't really have a problem with it, and I'm a mage. As far as I'm concerned it gives food a bigger role to play.

I don't have a problem with it either because I'm bile and have the gear to support it, but looking at it from when I was melee and ogma it was a pain in the fkn ass.

Well, hopefully when the Misty Mug Tavern reopens for business it should be easier to get food. I'm already trying to get jerky bulk produced to sell in kits.

So lets just remove all pains in the ass? Brigid should be able to use melee. Bile shouldn't have any weakness to holy word or fire. Ogma shouldn't be weak to magic and so on...

Yea, it's a pain, but deal with it because there's an option to avoid it.

You have to ****ing realize it's not ok having to eat 50 ****ing pizzas in a spar.

Sure, I'm all for quick spars but when spars end because one fighter runs out of food to regen his hp/sp it's just ridiculous.

I highly doubt you go through 16k on your food bar for one fight. If that's the case then you ought to rethink if you're capable of fighting, period.

I don't see why mages haven't begun to use ogma bows before resorting to magic. You need to slow warriors down before they slow you right? So use an ogma bow and poison them first. It may not guarantee victory, but it's a worthwhile tactic. I know this doesn't relate to food, i'm just saying.

The most i've seen non-bile players eat while we're sparring is three pizza's back when i had a fight with Nate that lasted very long.

Leuc is the best mage class. Brigid is a priest class really and isn't even combat based, maybie that's why you eat through so much food... Convert to a combat god.

If you do eat that much, you suck. I can't be more blunt. Pking is not for you, perhaps attempt to take joy in owning in PvE if you can manage that, revert to idling and trading.

regenerating food and mana approx 6mins
regenerating food and mana with regeneration 6mins
if you can't eat a few tuna sandwiches in a 5 minute period then something must be wrong

1. I was testing it WITH keeping my hp and mp low and using an row and ros while casting regeneration and being brigid at the same time, neither hp nor mp reached full when doing a segment for that part, so I could keep an accurate time check.

2. I don't really rp.

Yeah, a lot of people don't pay attention to the fact that

A.) They chose to have the disadvantages of that God when they switched in the first place.

B.) Those problems can be remedied by doing other things.

1000 food lasts 8 minutes while fighting, and that's only regenerating HP, so about 1 Jerky/min, the MMT has a policy historically of selling you a maximum of 10. It's beyond being a small burden, i understand that a small percentage of GK enjoy fighting/sparring and those that do are mainly bile because of the food issue, but for those of us not bile and are battle mode it's a huge burden.
